Elephants of Jim Corbett
The year 2012 started with crazy ride. I ended up spending most of the time in the field – photographing and filming across one of India’s finest jungle called JIM CORBETT National Reserve. We started towards the Core area popularly known as DHIKALA, which is 35 kms inside from the gate.
The habitats of the Dhikala grasslands at Jim Corbett national Park, are one of the finest treat to the eyes. You can watch them as long as you want as you will not get bored, THE GIANT ASIAN ELEPHANTS. My favorite mammal on Mother Earth.
The newly born little ones trying to learn the ways of the jungle. The playfulness of them bathing with mud is a wonderful scene to watch. Its playtime for the new ones.
The Muddy Bathing of the herd of elephants at the grassland of Dhikala is a treat to eyes.
